Get in the crowd! Know what's hot and what's not. If I were to name every fall fashion trend, then that would be way over the top. But,the biggest fashion trend of 2016 are chokers. Whether it's a ribbon or a scarf, or a necklace. Chokers have become such a big trend that you can just about see one anywhere. Of course, there is much more than just chokers...
Denim, plaid, fur, off the shoulder, above the knee boots... As you see, I have already named a few fall fashion trends. Now, Denim. What does that mean? If I just said denim, what would that lead you to? There's denim jackets, denim jeans, denim dresses, denim jumpsuits, denim vests, denim skirts, shorts, jeggings, dungarees, and that's about it. But, how do you wear them? Are they all trending? Well, you'll find out.
Denim is a broad topic, so we'll bring it down. What are the real fall trends? Denim jackets, denim jeans, and denim overalls. Yup, that's right. Even though you probably haven't seen a lot of them overalls (dungarees, rompers, jumpers, playsuits, jumpsuits), you've probably noticed the subtle trickle of the amount of overalls seen out there. I highly recommend you to wear the overalls with a crop top inside. Yes, that is trending right now. WARNING: DO NOT wear nothing under overalls, that looks ridiculous (no offence). Also, try not to wear long sleeves under overalls, plain white formal shirts are exceptional. If you're cold, hitch on a cropped jacket, and you're good to go! Denim jackets and jeans have to be something that you've seen everywhere. Just throw on a denim jacket over any shirt, really. Just make sure it clashes. Don't overlap the same colour, 'cause that's just... primary. Blue denim jacket over a blue shirt? Nuh uh! Denim jeans literally match with any shirt. Whether it's a blouse or a crop top, you get it. Tip: Make sure the other clothing you're wearing are not garbage, but trendy or at least nice.
Plaid is like denim, if not an even broader topic. Not as trendy, but awesome for a city show-up. There's flannel plaid shirts and plaid dresses. If you didn't know, flannel plaid shirts are a complete must have in your wardrobe. Even if you don't like wearing them, bring it along and tie it around your waist. It's really easy to match your plaid shirt with some chic pants or shorts. Again, denim it. Really simple, pull on some denim shorts or skinny jeans and you're perfect. Now, plaid dresses are a different story. Not everyone can be able to shine in the spotlight wearing a dress, never mind a plaid dress. But, that doesn't mean plaid dresses are off the list. If you're gonna wear plaid dresses, where a tight waisted one, with roll up sleeves. It's not hard to find them. For a touch up, you can slip on some boots and pop on a simple brimmed hat.
I'm skipping off the shoulder and fur, because they're pretty much plaid and denim. Also, if I wrote about them, you probably wouldn't get to reading about above the knee boots. Above the knee boots are just really tall boots that stretch above the knee. That may sound hard to move around in, but no. The material is usually very soft and comfy, usually made out of leather. The recommended use of those boots are with mini-skirts and dresses, or shorts. Of course, it also clashes with denim, including denim jeans and all.
Just because all the items above are fall 2016 fashion trends, that doesn't mean you have to wear all of them at once. Imagine this... a choker on your neck, fur shawl draped over your shoulders, then an off the shoulder crop top under a flannel plaid shirt, denim jeans, and above the knee boots. Doesn't that sounds a bit too exaggerated? Nobody wants to see a walking trend mess in the middle of the street. It's basically fashion gone wrong. But, I promise you, even if you think you are a total fashion victim, I'm telling you now that that's not true. I bet you have at least one or two fashion trend items in your wardrobe. It's not hard to be fashionable, but it's also not hard to be a fashion victim. #FallFashionTrends
