DIY Fall Fashion 2016

In the video above, Lauren shares DIY Fall Fashion ideas. There's the scarf shawl and the boot sock. I think that her video was great and easy to follow. But, in case you weren't able to catch on to what she was explaining, I'll give a brief description and get on with some more simple and amazing DIY Fall Fashion.

Scarf Shawl: Get a long piece of fabric, and measure the width to make sure it can measure from your left wrist/elbow to your right wrist/elbow. Then, fold it in half hamburger style(vertically) and hot glue the edges, but make sure to leave a hole to fit your arms through. Lastly, cut one flap of the shawl in half so that there is an opening in the front. That, was confusing, so the video was probably a whole lot easier to follow. ;)

Boot socks: This was extremely easy. But, the hard part is probably finding a worn-out sweater. But, after you do find a sweater that you don't want in your closet any longer, simply cut the sleeves off at the armpit seam, and try to make sure it's parallel to the cuff. Slip it onto your leg, and you're perfect! Tip: Wear them with knee-high boots.

They're both simple enough, if not only a bit confusing(scarf shawl). Either way, let's get on with some more simple DIYs.

For this Bow-in-the-back Sweater, you will need some sewing skills, but if you truly can't, then it's still possible to just use some strong glue. First, find any thin hood-less sweater. Preferably one that you dislike so that you can touch it up and make it the one that has to be washed the most often. To start off, you'll need: a sweater; a pair of scissors; ribbon of your colour preference; needle and thread; and a seam-ripper(optional).

First, lay out your sweater, the back facing upwards. Then, make a cut-out in the back using the scissors and seam-rippers. Now it's the hard part. Get one strip of ribbon, and fold the end so that the folded piece measures around one inch. Then, sew that to the inside of your sweater. The rim of the cut-out, somewhere in the half point from the collar to the bottom of the cut-out. Sew the other one on as well on the opposite side. Tie the two ribbons up to make a bow, and you're done! Tip: Wear with jean shorts or jeggings.

I found this very cool idea that you could try with any extra-large baggy t-shirts that you don't want anymore, or if your dad lets you take his;).

Pull the shirt over your head, and make sure the head opening is right under your armpits. Stuff both of the sleeves in.

Check out that website for even more DIYs ("Source"). I recommend it because they're all cool and easy to follow with visuals.
